Back at release we were always told there would be guild halls, and while this never happened many guilds decided to use the large homes in the game like the ones in South Qeynos as their guild halls. While this is a nice effort by the guilds they truly function as regular homes and are not really set up for the use of a guild.
I posted this idea in the crafting forums a long while back in the EQ2 forums, and I still think it is a great idea. I have yet to buy any of the crafting tables for my house because I do not want to fill my bags with harvests and fuel. My bags are full enough, and still when I run out of items it is a pain to have to run to a crafting merchant to refuel or to the broker to get more harvests.
It would be a huge bonus to crafters if they put storage space in the crafting tables that can be purchased for the home. This would allow crafters to stock up on the materials they need without filling their bags with these items. For a lot of us this is a huge pain to do because we have to remove the items we normally carry, find a place for them, and then when we are finished crafting rearrange it all again.
Another bonus would be the ability to purchase a butler. A butler could be purchased with status points from the crafting merchant. This little guy would hang out in your house and you would be able to purchase any type of fuel from him, most likely at a bit of a mark up, but it would be well worth it for the convienence. I would love to be able to craft in the comfort of my own home vs. the cold damp crafting houses. Maybe we will see something like this added soon!
When Everquest II first came out there was a very good reason I decided to give it a try. Someone lied to me and told me I could have a unicorn mount. Yeah, that is what brought me to EQ2. I remember camping Oakmyst forest in my younger levels just to catch a glimpse of the unicorn that resides there, and I had hopes that one day when I became a high enough level that I would be giving a quest of trust from this mythical beast that would lead to having my own unicorn friend.
Oh yes, I did say EQ2. Yeah, I know I said I quit. I think I made it an entire month this time! It was a good break though. I needed it when school started up since that was such a huge change to my schedule. I was really overwhelmed at first trying to balance family, school, and homework, but I have a nice little routine down, and decided that I owe it to myself to have a little fun too!
This is really getting ridiculous! As soon as that shooting happened I knew that someone was going to blame video games. By reading this post you can see that once again Jack Thompson and Fox news is at it again. This is of course why I don’t read or watch anything to do with Fox. Seriously, I want accurate news, not made up stories to try to get a decent headline!
Ok so this guy was mentally unstable and not taking his meds. He worked as a correctional officer in a prison, and he was in the army where he had real training with real guns to kill people (which prob isn’t a good idea if you are mentally unstable anyway), and we all know that many people come out of the military with mental issues as well. So we have all this so lets see… what was the cause… what could it be? I’ll take video games for 500 Alex!

The last week has been pretty horrible for me. At the beginning of the week I caught a virus, which gave me a nasty sore throat, runny nose, and a slight fever. I saw my doc, and he said everything was inflamed, and since I am pregnant he didn’t want to take any chances, and he gave me an antibiotic. Well I started taking the antibiotic, and the next day I had an allergic reaction to it, and my body broke out into a rash. I called the doctor, and he said to stop taking the antibiotic, and everything should just run its course.
Well, my hubby and I are not adopting. It was looking like we would not have been able to anyway, as most will not allow you to adopt older than your youngest, and we did not want to adopt an infant when we can have our own.
Regardless, we would have had a change of plans anyway, since this weekend I had two positive pregnancy tests! We are pretty excited! Crossing our fingers a bit due to the fact that I had an MRI a couple weeks ago, and I’m not sure if that is ok, and New Years Eve I had about 3 glasses of wine…. so I’m a bit worried.
I see the doctor on the 20th and she will hopefully do an ultrasound, and tell us everything will be fine!
I am taking a break from gaming due to real life creeping in again. School and kids have me very busy, and my husband and I are also in the process of trying to adopt. Life is non-stop around here at the moment 
We had initially decided that we would start the adoption process in a couple of years, but a recent video we saw of a little boy changed our plans. We have now also went from planning to adopt young to adopting an older child. I will most likely post more info on this as it moves along!
